a) China – Youngman Project : 007D SUV Position : Senior Project Engineer (May 2011 – Present ) Responsibilities : •Work closely with Program director and project manager to achieve project targets in term of quality , cost and on time delivery. •Organize and chair the PCR ( Product Change Request ) review meeting with the team members and highlight the changes which warrants their decision as well as proposals for improvements and follow up closely for PCR closure. •Arrange and attend engineering issues review meeting and facilitate and coordinate with team members to identify the issues and problems , troubleshoot and derive solutions. •Support program director and project manager to maintain project related records including project deliverables timing and status report. •Liaise between the clients , project team and suppliers ensuring reliable channels of communication. •Management of the progress of the prototype vehicle build and coordinate for prototype vehicle build sign off. •Work closely with the team members for the tracking and management of the prototype vehicle build issues. •Execute specific project activities as directed by Project Manager. b) China – Youngman Project Position : Senior Project Engineer ( Mar 2007 – May 2011 ) Responsibilities : •Assisted program director and project managers to manage the project deliverables based on project timing and track all the deliverables to internal and external clients with effective data release system. •Collated all the necessary documents for supporting the project payment by clients. •Assisted project team understand IT architectures & infrastructures , network & system security can be used effectively to deliver business benefits. •Led and guided Project team to enhance the Project IT system and improve the project effectiveness with limited availability of resources. •Following up closely with engineers and coordinate meeting for design concern discussion and responsible for design concern closure after investigation . •Assist Program Director to organize out-of-office activities for internal and external team in order to promote harmony working environment . c) Malaysia - Sales and Engagement Department Position : Project Engineer – Commercial division ( Jul 2006 – Feb 2007 ) Responsibilities : •Facilitated the development of proposal budgets and control proposal costs by working with Project Manager , respective engineering manager, Finance and Business Development Manager. •Prepared pricing , tenders and proposals under the joint direction of the Project Manager and the Finance and Business Development Manager. •Worked together with Project Planner , Project Manager , Finance and Business Development Manager , and occasionally direct with the client for the best solution for timely delivery of the proposals and tenders. •Coordinated by obtaining appropriate management approval of bid proposal . •Liaised between engineering departments and collate detailed and accurate data to support the planning and commercial activities in alignment with Lotus procedures. •Supported the business tracking system for the tracking of client contract reports and reporting into the sales process for reviewing business targets. •Continuous followed up with account manager or project manager to support award of tendered projects to the company , and to collect tender competitors information , market prices , company’s weaknesses for future corrective action. d) Malaysia - Proton CamPro CPS Project Position : Project Engineer ( Oct 2005 – Jun 2006 ) Responsibilities : •Initiated project meetings and updated progress of the Master Timing Plan via Microsoft Project . •Supervised the assigned project , coordinated project work , organized resources to ensure timely completion of project . •Tracked and monitored projects to assess progress of projects and achievement of project milestones , as well as maximize efforts to complete project by given dateline. •Reported the project progress to Project Manager as well as maintaining regular reporting to client and relevant authorities. •Prepared Monthly Project Report and submitted to Project Manager and clients. •Assisted Project Manager in monitoring budget of the project and analyzed the performance of the project. •Kept all project technical and administrative documentation properly to ensure smooth closing every month along the project.
